Mansfield Hourglass || Brooklyn with Unique Vintage

It's dots & wicker with Unique Vintage today, and a thrilling view from old Brooklyn!

DUMBO, which stands for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass, is an incredibly old Historic district and national landmark.  Remnants of it's industrial past can be found on practically every corner, with bygone brick buildings that are now lofts in this modern-day artist neighborhood.  Fun fact: The Etsy HQ is now in the building where the cardboard box was invented by Scottish emigrant Robert Fair.

You all know how much I love my Unique Vintage swimwear, and this season does not disappoint!  Today's little number is a bombshell design inspired by a particular pinup, one who was all about the WAIST... Jayne Mansfield of course.  As you also know well, I love my hourglass-accentuating looks!  I had to also incorporate pieces of my favorite era into my look, the 1940's - meeting the New Look fashion  of the late 40's and 1950's.
