Park Days in Top Vintage || Pale Pink & Dusty Blue

There is just too much beauty in New York City.  Every new location I stumble upon, I find myself wanting to sit and soak in the day for hours.  Today it's City Hall Park, surrounded by picturesque buildings dating back to 1811, including French Renaissance Revival City Hall.  This area has to be one of the most beautiful parts of NYC, but then I know I say that with each post!

For a bright Spring day, pale pastels were just what I was in the mood for, which seemed a perfect fit for a classic French Renaissance setting.  Top Vintage is one of my go-to sources for all things retro, especially pinup-essential separates like today's outfit.  This Micheline Pitt baby pink skirt can be styled so many different ways, and and I know I'll be wearing it all summer long.  It's firm cotton material provides breathability yet sophistication for easily going from the park to cafe.  I added soft pink vintage gloves and my 50's poodle wooden box bag, posh and glamorous!

  1. I love the colour combination you chose for your outfit! The pale pink colour of your Vixen by Micheline Pitt Pencil Skirt complements the dusty blue colour of your 40's Doll Cardigan beautifully, and you look stunning (as always) showcasing them. I love the classic design and tailoring of the shoulders of the cardigan - and your outfit photos are superb!

  2. Beautiful pictures as always. The gloves, shoes and headscarf in the pastel colour scheme are such a lovely touch. X
