Dots at Grand Army Arch || 1940's with TPDC

Polka Dots are one of my very favorite prints and I love to wear it all year long.  It is such a classic style, they are timeless in any season!  The Pretty Dress Company continuously satisfies my polka dot  cravings, and today's 1940's wrap dress is the perfect summer frock.  I love 40's-inspired this time of year (and all year), because dresses are lightweight and breezy while still being sophisticated and of course, glamourous.

Right where I stand, the first battle of the American Revolution took place!  Be sure to visit Grand Army at Prospect Park if you find yourself in Brooklyn - The Soldiers and Sailor's Arch is quite the beautiful display of architecture.  It was dedicated to the Defenders of the Union in 1861.
