Coquettish Toile || Veronica Dress by Davis Fashion

Today is one for the coquette ladies, with dreamy french blue, pearly white and one perfect dress... Meet Veronica, a 1940's frock by Davis Fashion, inspired by the one and only Veronica Lake.  This limited edition beauty encompasses all the aspects I love in a dress... elegance and luxury, femme fatale sensuality, and a bombshell silhouette - she is the ultimate head turner!  Yet her feminine toile print just may be my favorite feature, which is 100% cotton and fully lined, and has built in cups for the perfect amount of support.

As a glamour girl, I couldn't love Davis Fashion's mantra more, "for women who what to be noticed," as all of their LA-made designs celebrate 1940's - 1950's styles in the most exquisite way.  There is an understated sex appeal to these decades which in my opinion, is powerful and "makes a woman terrifying" as my husband says.  This is just one of the reasons I love Davis, who is also a completely vegan and cruelty-free brand.

Today's set is 1894-built New York Life building, recently saved from it's destiny of destruction, thankfully to become Kimpton Gray Hotel!  Original details are visible throughout, as well as several 1920's deco additions.  Also making an appearance are the breathtaking 1800's constructed lion statues of beaux-arts Art Institute.
