White & Lights || Ingrid Cream Coat by Pretty Dress

The cold season is almost here, and I'm excited to share the most beautiful coat today!  Ingrid by Pretty Dress is all golden age glamour, today's version of soft snowy winter white, with a creamy tan faux fur collar.  To match this creamy aesthetic, I added a pearly pillbox hat and poodle-inspired platinum undo.

Our setting is historic Palmer House, a 1920's rebuild of a previous structure destroyed in the Great Chicago Fire.  Below are the original 20's hand-forged visual masterpieces, Peacock Doors, which weigh more than a half ton each and are worth over a million dollars alone.  The doors were constructed to pay homage to the 1830's opulent boutique "House of Peacock,"  Chicago's historic emporium of fine china, jewelry and imported gifts of silver and gold.

Palmer is the utmost of glamour, and the perfect aesthetic for welcoming the beginnings of the most dazzling season of all.... I'm looking forward to wearing Ingrid to all the sparkling occasions ahead.
