Farm in the Fall || Dusty Blue & Burgundy

It's Thanksgiving week!  The holidays are officially here, and we've so enjoyed the beauty of the season.  On one of the most beautiful Fall days I've ever experienced, we took a long walk through the parks of Lincoln Park.  This area is one of my favorites of Chicago, and filled with history... from Victorian lily ponds & gardens, to a conservatory that housed the same rare plants and flowers since the 1800's.

On this particular autumn day, we stopped by a farm located along the Nature Boardwalk.  Separates are always a great choice for lots of walking, and Unique Vintage is one of the very best sources.  I paired dusty blue and burgundy, which is one of my absolute favorite color combinations for Fall.  Today's burgundy skirt is my current staple ... I have already worn it so many times, and so many different ways.  It is feminine & polished yet comfortable, and even has pockets.  I've worn it with leopard print, with pink, with black, and of course today's white & baby blue.  I added a vintage scarf and fluffy beret to complete the look.
