Rouged Autumn || The Pretty Dress Tartan

Happy November!  Have I mentioned I love Fall?  A gradual transition this year has made the season feel slow and extra magical, as we've been able to soak in every newly "blossomed" tree around us!  Rows of vibrant deeply rouged red leaves seemed to be the first to explode with color, with dashes of mustard yellow sprinkled everywhere.  The crisp air & scent of fireplaces add to the feeling that is all around Chicago right now ... and the excitement of the holidays to come!

Speaking of holidays, today's ensemble is one for family gatherings and festive get-togethers, and, what could be more perfect for Thanksgiving than plaid?  As part of their new collection, The Pretty Dress Company created this gorgeous tartan version of the fatale dress.  Black and white is a particular favorite of mine, because it can be accented by just about any color of the rainbow.  Since currently living in Autumn-town, deep reds were a natural choice for today's polished look.

Long 50's inspired leather gloves are the perfect addition for any cool weather climate, not only are they chic, but also serve their purpose.  My hands are always nice and luxuriated with the soft cashmere lining offered by Beau Gant!  On my feet, is a current favorite pair - these are as comfortable as they are gorgeous.  See all details below:
