Coral & Marabou || Beaux Arts in Midtown

Greetings from New York City!  You might have caught on my instagram that we have moved here for a while, and we are absolutely in love with this city.  I am so excited to share with you the endless history of NYC's beauty through my posts.  The decades I live for seem to speak out from every corner.  The significance of this iconic city has the dazzle of yesteryear, but extends even further than hollywood itself... the excitement of broadway, the history of Ziegfeld Follies, and to the very beginnings of America.  So far, I haven't yet awakened from this dream of being here, it's a glamour girl's wonderland.

Today's location is a national landmark, the opulent New York City Library, built in Beaux Arts style in 1897.  With an interior as beautiful as it's exterior, I will have to take you inside someday!  For now, steps, statues & exquisite white marble serve as our backdrop for peachy coral... a 1940's style form-fitting trumpet flare frock by The Pretty Dress Company.

I first introduced you to this beauty in my "Feathers & Flare" post, it seems feathers naturally make their way to my styling with this design!  Matching marabou, pearls, and a marble box bag completed my aesthetic for fancy golden age glamour.
