Dusty Blue & Tan || Fall Transition with Secrets in Lace

One of the many things I love about styles from the 30's - 50's is the brilliant ways color was used.  Not only were the hue combinations beautifully composed in many outfits, but the actual shades of clothe were woven in beautiful colors that are often hard to find today.  Even further, styling often included pieces throughout the outfits made of the exact same fabric - such as a hat made from the same wool as the dress, shoes, bag, etc.

I try to keep in mind such simple yet thoughtfully intertwined methods in my own looks, and especially this time of year.  Our weather has been the perfect kind for transitional outfits, and I enjoy the challenge of merging summer into fall!  Today's outfit was a daily look to run errands around the city, and I'm absolutely adoring this weather for revisiting all of my favorite fall stockings.  I chose a palette of dusty blue & tan, with my beige Secrets in Lace Vintage Elegance euro stockings.  I love the beige full fashion detail with black seam!
