San Francisco || Cable Cars with Lady Jane Vintage

I lived in Northern California for about 3 years, and it where I got married!  My husband was born in SF & his family is all there, so it has been a pretty significant location in our lives.  Last week, we flew there for a pretty short trip to attend my father in-law's retirement party, and it was wonderful to see everyone.  On the last day of our trip, my father in-law took us into the city for some fun and to have lunch with Eric's grandparents.

Aside from thoughts of my days living in this area, I also couldn't help but think of some of my favorite movies: Vertigo, Yours, Mine & Ours, The Birds, Maltese Falcon, and many others!  We rode the cable cars, observed the vintage buses, enjoyed some Irish coffee at Buena Vista Cafe, and visited the hotel where we spent the first night of our honeymoon.  We hadn't been back in 9 years, so almost a decade ... you can imagine how strange it was to see it all again!  I wore an entirely vintage outfit: 1950's sweater, skirt, bag, gloves & jewelry from my favorite vintage shop Lady Jane Vintage.  I get all of my cozy knits from her, and this apricot/cream sweater is one of my favorites.  Also, this beautiful skirt is made of wool - I love how durable it is, and without any stretch.
